Located on the west coast of Scotland in Lochaber, Arisaig is a picturesque village in the Scottish Highlands.
It’s well known for its stunning scenery, rich history, and connections to both maritime heritage and Jacobite history.
Arisaig lies on the “Road to the Isles,” and offers stunning views of the Small Isles (Eigg, Muck, Rum, and Canna) and the Isle of Skye.
The nearby Silver Sands of Morar are famous for their white sandy beaches and turquoise waters, often compared to tropical destinations.
During the 1745 Jacobite uprising, Bonnie Prince Charlie landed nearby at Loch nan Uamh.
The Special Operations Executive (SOE) used Arisaig as a training ground during World War II.
Operatives trained here before being deployed to Europe.
