The Forth and Clyde Canal #
The Forth and Clyde Canal is a historic waterway in Scotland, stretching 35 miles (56 km) from the Clyde River in the west to the Firth of Forth in the east.
Completed in 1790, it was a major engineering achievement of its time, creating a direct waterway connection between the east and west coasts of Scotland.

The Union Canal #
The Union Canal in Scotland is a historic waterway that runs from Falkirk to Edinburgh, stretching approximately 31.5 miles (50.7 kilometres).
Constructed in 1822 as part of Scotland’s canal network, with the primary aim of transporting coal and other goods during the Industrial Revolution.
Today, it is a popular destination for leisure activities, including boating, cycling, walking, and paddle boarding.
